Refunds and Cancellations
1. Your written fee proposal
Building Pathology Diagnostics is a trading name of Full Stack International Ltd. Your written fee proposal sets out the agreed work, price including VAT, payment arrangements and timetable before you instruct us. Standard inspections do not require a routine deposit; deposits or staged payments for complex or high-volume work are agreed individually in writing.
2. Cancelling a consumer instruction
For qualifying consumer service contracts agreed remotely or off premises, you normally have 14 days to cancel, starting the day after the contract is made. Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel; you may email accounts@buildingpathologydiagnostics.co.uk. You do not have to use a particular form. This summary does not limit any longer cancellation right that applies by law.
Work during this period requires your express request. If you cancel after an authorised early start, a proportionate charge for services supplied may apply, provided the required cancellation and charging information was given. Your cancellation right ends after full performance only where the legal requirements are met, including your express consent to an early start and acknowledgement that you will lose that right once the service has been fully performed.
Where a refund is due under this cancellation right, we will reimburse you without undue delay, within 14 days of being informed, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
3. Other cancellations and changes
For business instructions or cancellations outside an applicable cooling-off period, your agreed terms apply, subject to law. We do not automatically retain a deposit or impose a fixed cancellation penalty. Any proposed charge will be explained and account for work supplied and reasonable recoverable losses, with steps taken to reduce those losses. Contact us to discuss rescheduling.
4. Concerns about the service
Your statutory rights are unaffected. If a service does not meet the required standard, remedies may include repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction. Please raise concerns through our complaints procedure; contacting us does not remove other rights or remedies.
5. Enquiries and formal engagement
Formal engagement happens after your written fee proposal, through terms and cancellation information supplied in a durable form. The enquiry form on this website does not commission work and is not a request for an early start.
